SPECIAL TRAINING PLANNED IN ST. MARTINVILLE.   See below for details.

St. Martin Parish Animal Services is having its first annual regional Target Education Seminar June 22, 2017. We are hoping to provide an educational resource for all Animal Care fields from Animal Control, Rescues including volunteers. This conference will be covering Proper Animal Handling, Proper Equipment Use and Emergency Evacuation and Sheltering. The cost of the seminar is $10.00 to cover the lunch that will be given. All attendees will be receiving hundreds of dollars of free stuff provided by L.S.A.R.T obtained through grants. This course will also provide 6 hours of continuing education credits approved by the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medicine, certificates will be given the day of the seminar.
